We use custom PTCS desktop management services
to support your desktop operating system and applications. Our
approach uses Microsoft’s Windows Installer Service to
incorporate application installation and management into the
Windows Operating System. We use it to repair applications,
reinstalling defective or missing components when the user
invokes the application.
We develop a base image, combining the operating system and core
productivity applications. Following standard application
development principles, we repackage your applications and
resolve any conflicts. We repackage applications using Wise
Package Studio, which includes development support for
Microsoft’s Windows Installer Service.
You will manage your users’ resources and applications using
Microsoft’s Active Directory and policy management. For example,
installed applications that are enforced through Active
Directory can only be uninstalled through Active Directory. You
may distribute locally installed applications at designated
times when the client desktop is idle.
